In all of my other browsers, I am able to use an app to auto refresh a web page. I use this for streaming music. Is there such an app that I can use on Opera as well?

@uipestra Opera doesn't support apps but there seem to be extensions that do what you want.

I think you are looking for an auto-clicking program like GS Autoclicker but I am not sure if they are compatible with opera? It works fine in games for sure.

There used to be a setting in Opera to auto-refresh page, with different timers. But that was years ago.

@vegelund That was in Opera Presto, when web pages were more static.

Try googling something like "page auto-refresh extension". You should find a variety of them in Google's extension store (eg: Auto Refresh Pro, etc).

Yes, several auto-refresh extensions are available. You can use them.

@uipestra @vegelund Instead of "googling it" I did a Internet search using phrase "opera page auto-refresh extension" and found several references to Operas add-ons and the refresh available.

Super Auto Refresh extension - Opera add-ons Last update April 23, 2015

How To Auto -Refresh Page In Opera Browser • Technobezz Article dated June 12, 2018

Since most engines don't date links any more, these could be outdated.

@vince77 Okay. I will try it out. For now found another auto clicker tool that seems to being doing the job.

I shall also try an extension as suggested my others I think that should work much better.

                        Hello,

you can try using the Tab Auto Refresh addon. It will allow you to reload your chosen tabs automatically. Another option is the Super Auto Refresh addon. On both of the pages you can set an interval of time so that the page knows when it should be refreshed. You can easily pause the refreshment if you want to. My last suggestion is the Tab Reloader. It also works individually for every page of your choice. You can also decide if you want the page to be reloading if the tab is active or not.

Thank you for creating this discussion.

The Chrome Web Store should have some useful extensions. I have placed a search in the Chrome Web Store for you to use: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/auto refresh

There should be extensions within the list attached.

                          Hope this helps!

Just click on the extension icon in the Opera toolbar and select the interval that you want the site to be refreshed in automatically from the menu that opens.

I hope you got your answer
                            Thankyou
