Im am using OperaMail 1.0 Build 1044 with Windows 10, installed für german language. Everything ist working properly, but the number of the day concerning recieved messages is allway missing when i refer to them in my answers.

      Example:

      Am .08.2020, 11:31 Uhr, schrieb vorname.nachname@gmail.com
      -----?

Where and how can I repair my entry für this purpose? I did not change anything intentionally.

      Thanks in advance.

That seems weird.... I'm on my mobile right now, but it should be in accounts.ini and should just refer to the whole date. Find the data for that mail account and look for the Reply header, but if it only refers to %date and not to individual components the fix may not be in Opera Mail.

Check in Windows to see what format is listed for "short date" (however they'd say that in German) and make sure it is dd.mm.yyyy or similar rather than mm.yyyy (with no day part).

@sgunhouse Thanks for your information. I can't find a file named accounts.ini in any of my partitions - so I cannot look for the reply header. Is ist perhaps another .ini-file?

Concerning windows10 the selection is correct: dd.mm.yyyy.

@evort The profile and mail directory are stored in your user's setting directory, which is generally hidden in Windows. Go to Help > About Opera and copy the path listed as your mail root directory (highlight it and copy it to the clipboard) then paste it into your file browser. It is there.

Opera Mail is discontinued. So why not use Mozilla Thunderbird?!
