@ope3gameux When you add the page to bookmarks, you can choose a image to be set as its thumbnail.

I did 'version' in the search and got a huge amount of info that said copy to clipboard which I did. Do you need me to impart all that info? I hope not.
All I would like to know is - after I have added a few sites to the speed dial page is it possible to delete them from the page? -

I would like to change search engine in the Opera main page box. I don't like Google because it is too much intrusive. Is it possible?

@nippunique As known, the search field in start page can be hidden but it can't be changed.

I changed pc, and I wanted to transfer the settings to the new pc. How can the program tabs be transferred as well? Because these are not transferred.

@kokserpico Opened tabs from other Opera installations can be accessed by clicking on the tabs icon in sidebar or by going to opera://activity

Hello,
I wanted to change my default search engine from Google to Bing. I followed the instructions and went to the settings and substituted Bing for Google by selecting it from the dropdown menu. But when I opened a new tab, the start page still showed Google as my default search engine. I closed Opera and opened it again, but still Google was shown as my default search engine, although Bing was my default search engine according to my settings. I then signed out from my Opera account and signed in again, but even this didn't help. Still my start page shows Google and my settings Bing as my default search engine. What am I supposed to do?

This is actually another bug report, but just like the other time, I couldn't find the bug report category... My default search engine is DuckDuckGo, but the search bar that shows up in Speed Dial is Google:
Here is what I get when I search through the address bar, which is working as expected:

So I dont know if I have a unique issue with Opera or anything but I do want to figure out the answer or even know if I have a right to complain about any of this.
Even with the "many amazing features" Opera has on-deck to limit ram, network, and cpu usage and whatnot I still easily have this browser chugging along in the background taking up more processing power with an average of 7 tabs open while not being in-use. If it was just that I'd assume you guys would have an easy fix and a bajillion alternative solutions to figure this out with me, but even after that performance and resource consumption issue I have another which combined with that becomes an even bigger issue.
When I run or use Opera it keeps and runs a bunch more executables/tabs than what's necessary at the time.
This image right here is what I'm talking about. I have ONE tab open right now and yet opera needs 20 or more so tabs or executables open to keep that one tab running (I don't know the specific term so I will reference it as tab or executable).
I am not looking to have someone justify why I have this many executables open because it's literally indefensible when even a few are over a hundred MB's for only one tab, now imagine my typical 4-7 tabs open history and it all starts to track a little more that this becomes an even bigger exponential issue per tab opened. I don't need to know how or why, I just want it to stop so I can enjoy my sparing time on the computer without thinking I should use my computer as a microwave instead of an actual entertainment system or work device. This is only two tabs open in Opera.
To the normal human beings should I just switch browsers, and to the devs/support staff why and what am I supposed to do. -

@misterlupin As known and said several times, Chromium (Opera is a Chromium based browser) is multi-process and that's why you see several processes running even with just a few tabs opened. There is a process for the browser itself, one for each tab, one for each extension, one for the GPU process, one for the audio process, one for network process, etc, that you can see by going to menu > developer> task manager.

It would be really nice to get the topic title fixed to read, "The topic for things that were answered/discussed lots of times already".
Please fix the title. Thank you.
