Trying to empty bookmark trash

I have tried several times to empty my bookmark trash but it never works. Opera times out and I am forced to close the window. I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling Opera but wasn't sure if that world work. Any suggestions?

I have the latest version of Opera for Windows.

Times out? I gather Sync is enabled and it can't contact the server, then. Hard to time out on an operation done completely inside your computer.

Well, you could always try disabling Sync first, then see if you can re-enable it afterwards.
