Multiple Users

Hello all

Does Opera support multiple users like Chrome? When I create websites for my clients I like to create separate profiles (users) in Chrome but as a long time Opera user, I'd prefer working in Opera.

Nope, not atm. There is a command line switch (which i don't remember now) that allows you to change the path to the profile folder but you would have to create one shortcut for each profile.

If all user have their own Windows login. Opera is fine. The only issue is if multiple users log in under the same ID - and Opera is by no means unique there.

Given that it's now based on Chrome, they'll introduce that feature soon.

Not really, they can and do have different views about user experience. For instance Opera Software could consider separate OS user accounts for different users enough and ideal.

About the launcher shortcut use --data-path=C:\locationoftheprofile
