[Request/Help] Is there a way to shut down entirely Opera GX ?

Hi,
I think that would be useful (to restart Opera), and I'm not sure there is a way : when I open Opera for the first time in the morning, there is the logo and an animation, showing that it's loading. But when I close it to reopen it, I don't have the animation again. Is that normal ? I think it could be nice to have a manual way to shutdown entirely Opera GX.

Wait a few seconds? It has to save settings and update Sync (if enabled) before actually closing.

@wulfhartus What animation? If you are talking about that one with the Opera logo, you should see it only after have installed GX or after an update.

It used to be that you could set it to be shown every time, but it seems like they changed it. Perhaps unintentionally...? Maybe I should file a bug report - mine was set to enabled, but it didn't play just now.

I have it enabled, but there was no animation. That's why I filed a bug report.

In the bug report I mention that Windows updated last week, and perhaps that's related. We'll just have to see.

@leocg oh, I didn't know that animation should only show after an Update. It shows so often !
