http://www.msftconnecttest.com/redirect is a page which Firefox automatically goes to when I am connected to a wifi that requires some web page dialogue before giving we access. How can I make Opera do this automatically, or if it won't do that, how can I change the start page this url?

@halvor-raknes If a Wi-Fi network requires that you go to a page to login, then that network should open the login page in your default browser when you try to login.

@leocg I think Opera is my default browser.

@halvor-raknes And what happens when you try to login to a Wi-Fi network that requires the use of a web page to do the login?

@leocg Nothing. I either have to look up that url which I have stored for safe keeping in a text file or open Firefox where it will show that I have a network and prompt me to go to the login page.

Most login pages are automatic as long as you aren't using a proxy - try turning off the VPN, if you enabled it.

It works now! I don't know why it didn't work before, or why I got the impression that it didn't.

                  Thank you, @leocg and @sgunhouse !
