How to get target URL displayed as tool-tip or status bar?

How to set Opera so that the target URL of a link would be somehow visible before clicking the link? I think best way would be to display the URL ar a tool-tip when hovering it. Also status bar would be better than nothing but it’s stupid to waste the whole height of status bar all the time.
I have searched and searched with no luck. Someone spoke something about opera://flags/#enable-aura-tooltips-on-windows but I don’t have that. I’m running the latest stable version of Opera. I don’t know what’s going on here, this used to be one of the most basic things in every browser. This irritates me so much every day that I’m afraid my brain is going to explode or something. I may have to stop using Opera because of this.

There is a tooltip that pops up, but it's at the bottom-left of the window instead of near the link. If you want one by the link, you can install https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/link-revealer/nphhadgebjlmcfleikmiedhohdfbfoin.

@burnout426 Now that you mentioned it I think I’ve had this but it’s lost. Bottom-left is just fine for me. Any idea on how to set that?

@villejo
It should always pop up, there is no way to disable it. Well, there were some Opera versions, where this popup was somehow broken - but not lately, certainly not in last stable.
Is your Opera window maximized? -

No it wasn’t. I normally keep my window maximized but a couple a weeks ago I needed two separate Opera windows and it stayed like that. The tool-tip was there all the time, under the taskbar. So this solved my problem, thanks a lot.
