How do you back up bookmarks files in opera 22?
(folder are very easily canceled with a single click, with "remove" right next to "edit")...
thanks a lot

Just click on the Opera logo on the upper left of the browser, and that will open your Opera menu. Then click on About Opera (next to last item in the Opera menu). Go down to Paths. The second one, I believe, is the profile path. That shows you the location of the profile in your computer. If your computer is Windows 7 (mine is), the path may be as follows: C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable. In any event, the key is what the path is on your computer by clicking on About Opera.
Now the folder, "Opera Stable," is the Opera profile. You might just want to copy/backup the whole profile to be on the safe side. It includes bookmarks, and other things, the speed dial, Stash, preferences, extensions, etc. So my recommendation would be to copy the Opera Stable folder to a Flash Drive, or elsewhere, even on your computer -- maybe your desktop. Copying it to a Flash is preferred in case you have to reinstall your computer Operating system. You will still have the Opera profile.
Now if you click on the Opera Stable folder, you will see the folders and files that are in it. One of the files is "Bookmarks." That is the file that contains your bookmarks.
And welcome to Opera! And also, welcome to the forum!
