[Solved]Opera not recognizing custom search keywords
sammiann226 last edited by leocg
I set up a few custom searches, like Google Drive and Twitter. But when I search using keywords, like "tw news" it just searches Google for the phrase "tw news", rather than searching Twitter for "news", which is what I set up.
Any idea what is going wrong?

@sammiann226 my guess is space in between. if you use "t" for twitter then it would work. I don't think it supports "space" in keywords. I'm not sure if theres a specific search for news in twitter either? but, I'm not the expert I'm just guessing...

I think you need a space to trigger the keyword though, right? Like a default search is "d taxes" which searches DuckDuckGo for taxes. My default searches do work, but not my custom searches

@sammiann226 Did you try removing and adding them again?

oh my god I'm a dummy. I was using % and not %s. Thank you to those who responded
