In Windows, for the connection you're using, make sure it's set as a private network and not a public one. See https://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-10/change-from-public-to-private-network-in-windows-7-8-10/ for more info. Some users have said that Opera won't save passwords if you're connected to a network marked as public. I don't think I've had that problem, but give it a shot.

Also though, some sites tell the browser not to save the login info. We would need the link to the site's login form to check.
