Speed dial setup stays blank

Hi!
I got a really weird bug: the settings on my speed dial (where you can change background and such) is not showing any content. I.e. the panel comes up but remains all white. Does anyone have an idea how to fix that?
Cheers

What version of Opera? Does it happen with both the dark and light theme or just the dark? Does it happen with all extensions disabled?
If you goto the URL
opera://settings/system
, turn of hardware acceleration and restart Opera, does that fix it? -

In recent versions, you can access this panel from any page, and the name is now "Easy setup". The icon is at the far right of the address bar (at least, far right if no extensions are installed) and is supposed to look like a series of horizontal sliders.

@sgunhouse yes thanks I know how it's supposed to look, but that's the whole point ... it doesn't but just stays all white with no controls at all.
@burnout426 latest version ofc. Will check the things you suggested, maybe some extension is messing up, but would be strange because I only got really common ones installed.

Tested all of the ideas suggested by @burnout426, sadly with no success. I also poked around in the underlying code of the speed dial page, but also nothing suspicious there like non-loaded resources and such. The mystery continues.

Can you try with a fresh profile to test if it fixes things. You can do this without messing with your current profile.
Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser", and install.
Test in that Opera, but do not enable Opera Sync and do not install any extensions. Does it work there at least?
