All these additions are very useful. I love that the full recently closed tabs menu has returned and that we can also access to it with a long press on the "+" icon of the tablet mode. Thank you very much.

why did you remove the VPN? it was the best part of Opera on my Desktop and many sites speak of the Android VPN version but i just downloaded and it's not there (i'm not going to a 3rd party apk to get an old version)

will it be coming back? or shall i uninstall and stick with Firefox?

even your graphic above shows it in the Settings menu and the "Related Posts" speak of the VPN in ver52....yet it's gone in this new version apk

@wheredidthevpngo VPN is still there, just make sure to enable it in settings.

data savings, ad blocking, night mode, appearance, crypto wallet
then language and default etc.....no VPN anywhere, ver 56.1.2780.51589
downloaded as apk from opera site, running sgs8 android 7.0

@wheredidthevpngo Where in the world are you? In placs where it is blocked, VPN may not be available.

@leocg UK. works fine on my Desktop. is the apk direct download the same as what is submitted to Google? i might just grab an older one.

@wheredidthevpngo I guess so. According to Play Store, last update was in February 11 and the on ein the FTP is from February 12.
