Opera thinks I am in latvia. How do I change my location?

I downloaded Opera while I was in Latvia. Now it defaults to google latvia, and I can't figure out how to change that. Any ideas?

On Windows ...

Where does About Opera say your profile is? See if there is a file named Local State in your profile. If there is, open it in a text editor and edit or remove the Location section.

Generally, you change your computer’s region from System Settings: Language and Region: Region.

If you want to overwrite this manually, follow the below steps (intermediate difficulty):

1. Quit Opera
2. From the Terminal application, paste this line followed by Enter: open -e ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.operasoftware.Opera/Local\ State
3. Look for and manipulate this line, "location": { "country": "us", "country_from_server": "US" }
4. Save, and reopen Opera
