So I have this strange thing that happened. I was on vacation in a hotel for 8 nights. While at this hotel on the hotel's wife Opera would work just fine for gmail, facebook, and youtube, but simply would not connect to reddit or other websites. I could open up firefox and safari just fine.

Now, back at my work, I just tried to get on amazon. Opera simply would not connect. However, I could open firefox and connect just fine.

Any idea what is going on?

So I can't seem to be able to watch netflix on opera. Googling around it appears that in older versions the answer was to go to site preferences and to mask the browser as firefox.

Frustratingly, I can't figure out how to do that. Right clicking doesn't bing up site preferences as apparently it did in older versions. A search on "site preferences" and "mask" in help both yield nothing.

Anyone have any thoughts?

In gmail when I click on the button with the phone handset the dialer pops up in the upper right and underneath where you would enter a number it says in yellow "please download the voice plugin to make a call" So I do.. and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

One wonders if the Opera people read this stuff and do anything about it or not. One also wonders if I can get the phone number of the hot chick who is on the screen when I sign into this forum, but that's a different story altogether.

I just turned off all extensions and it still crashes. I have no idea what this could be.

Title says it all. I do a lot of bookmarking for research. Suddenly Opera is unusable to me because I can't add bookmarks without the browser crashing.

Any thoughts?

I downloaded and installed Opera while I was in Latvia. Opera thinks I am still in Latvia. When I do a search it goes to Latvian google. If I go to travel websites it thinks I am in Latvia or Germany. How do I change this?

I don't want to un-install and the re-install because I don't want to lose my bookmarks, form fills, and all that jazz.
