Telegram side bar stuck in Generating Keys

My Opera Telegram Side bar initially used to be stuck in Generating Keys for a few minutes. Now after agreeing to the prompt regarding the phone number confirmation it just goes silent.

How do we reset Telegram side bar alone and restore it to normalcy?

I am also facing the same issue
Deleting cookies and cache did not work.
