2019 11 09 - In the last couple of days this website "www.imeangame.com" loads itself. I can not find out how to get rid of it. I have loaded the "Adult Blocker" extension, which seems to work (I installed and activated it only a few minutes ago).
Any help telling me how to get rid of this auto-loading website will be most welcome.
I am going to run my AV software and see if that can kill it.

Most likely some form of adware. Check to see if the shortcut (desktop, menu, whatever) you use to start Opera was modified to add the website to the command line; also if you recently installed any add-ons try disabling them and see if that might be the cause. Otherwise ... did you install any new software about the time this started? Maybe Ad Aware or a similar anti-adware program would find it.

Also, when it does appear, does it 'hijack' a desired page or open a new tab? If you examine your Opera extensions, are there any there which you don't recognize? Finally, does this only occur with the Opera browser (and not with a different browser)? Also, under Opera's Settings > Advanced > Privacy & Security, try checking the Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files, and Hosted app data boxes > Clear data.
