So if I uninstall Opera and reinstall it, it will be fixed? I don't really have the time to figure out editing the preferences file or whatever.

Their message isn't empty, they're quoting a question to bump this thread because Opera still breaks critical functionality throughout Windows while open.

Their message isn't empty, they're quoting a question to bump this thread because Opera still breaks critical functionality throughout Windows while open.
The quoted message was old and had already been answered, so to me that didn't make sense.

Fair enough, different forums have their own rules regarding this, not my place to barge in and start questioning yours.

You're right, that specific question was more directly answered than I thought. It was late and I was still frustrated by this after months. It took me quite a while to figure out the issue was caused by Opera, there are people who had the problematic update installed and will never figure it out.

@burnout426 Yes... Now it seems to be working fine on Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon.
