@martinkukel Initially, I have received this problem too. Cant view Facebook story at all. Opera shows me a message that I need to adjust the window size.

I pressed F11 key. To resize it to Fullscreen then I can view the Facebook stories. Try viewing it on Fullscreen, see if that helps.

P.S. : I aint working for opera, am just another user just like you. So x think im an expert tho...

What version of Windows do you have?

What version of Opera do you have?

What GPU do you have and what driver version?

Goto the URL opera://gpu and post what it says under the "Video Acceleration Information" section.

Click on a story for a FB user that's public, copy the address in the address field and post it here so we can try it.

@martinkukel Thanks for the info. Those all work for me. I have the same Video Acceleration Info as you (Intel HD3000 on a 2nd-gen Core i5), but I'm on Windows 10.

Hopefully someone on Windows 7 can check. If you see in the post @leocg linked to, this might be due to a limitation with Opera and Windows 7, currently.

Note that in the other thread, @ulkoalex got things working on Win7, somehow.

@martinkukel I'm having the same problem now May 10, 2020. Facebook "stories" are all blurry in Opera only. Full-screen/F11 makes no difference. They look fine with Chrome. I'm running Windows 10 and this is a fairly recent problem for me as they used to be fine, if always inherently annoying 🙂 .

I have the same issue. It worked on Opera Beta on my laptop which is a different login but I am sure that is nor relevant since stories play fine on another computer with Opera. I am sure it is an Opera setting but not sure where to look. Only choice I see is a clean install of Opera. But it would be nice if someone from Opera replied back with the solution.

Reset Settings to Default fixed it for me,.
