I've been using the betas for a long time and want to switch over to the public version with a clean install, while keeping my Speed Dial. Is there a way before uninstalling the beta to keep the SD to copy into the new install? Thanks,

Copying over the Bookmarks and BookmarksExtra files should do it.

Or, you could goto opera://bookmarks, export and then import.

You could use sync to get them into the "other speed dials" folder in bookmarks and then copy them to the speed dial page in bookmarks.

Thanks. Let me add to that. Is there a way to save...

          • ad blocking exclusions
          • Auto fill: passwords, payment methods, addresses
          • etc.

@genegold Better to copy the whole profile folder. Or use sync.

@leocg Is the Profile folder now considered the entire folder under AppData\Roaming\Opera Software?

@leocg Ok, that worked, thanks, and so far has gotten rid of a few page loading and page appearance quirks that had developed over time in my beta install.

With the beta, on my desktop icon (Properties) and in a bookmark program I used, I had the following syntax for launching Opera:
                \launcher.exe --alt-high-dpi-setting=90 -noautoupdate -- "%1"

First, I'm not sure it's needed anymore, but in any case that syntax is not working now, perhaps because the quote marks aren't quite correct. Any suggestions?

@genegold Please open a new topic to discuss it since it's totally off-topic and we don't want to turn this topic into a generic one
