Opera developer 65

Win 8 users,
Please check if you have any differences while opening new tab with hardware acceleration off/on in Settings (don't forget to relaunch after changing the toggle).
Here new tab opening is very slow (~2 seconds) and browser becomes unresponsive during this time. I don't see this problem after turning the hw acceleration off. Also in 63 it looks fine (with both hw acceleration on and off) -

Hi, thank's for your effort in trying to solve my "problem" with side bar. ( I replied to your last message the following day, but it's not there ????.)
Concerning DoH, as far as i am concerned it is disabled.
I have dnssec on my firewall, and do not trust the cloud.
Btw, i just red that opendsd will disable that feature.

Hi @loup001, what you mean by "it's not there", that the previous topic is locked, or something else?
If so, we decided to continue to speak about your case here (me and Moderator).Yes, DoH is experimental feature, and it's disabled by default. Most probably the flag will stay in place, even if it will be enabled by default in the future, so you should be able to disable it as you wish.

It loads instantly, when you open a new tab, even if you already have a lot of tabs open in that session. Interaction on the start page is also improved - scrolling is smooth, no matter how many speed dials and news items you have. The new start page optimizes your browser’s memory usage, as it is now one instance, no matter how many start-page's tabs you open. This feature is still under development, and if you notice it causing any problems, it can be disabled in
opera:flags#shared-start-page
.Please take a look at the comparison between how the start page loaded before, and how it loads now with the new mechanism.

After
Opera system requirements update: please note, that we’ve dropped support for OS X Yosemite. "

So 'Quick Access' option was removed? I can't find it anywhere (including flags). After many requests to make it look with one solid border when Quick Access pane is expanded it was just removed. Really genius lifehack.

Hi @andrew84, yep, it looks like it's removed from the flags and settings. I'm not one of Opera's employees, so you need to ask one of them, why it is removed for now. You can still use it in the previous version 65.0.3459.0.
