I managed to reproduce this problem on the second laptop.

the same thing happens if you install Opera GX "For current user"

@temkem It's the same browser, so it will have the same issues. Except, of course, for the GX specific features.

There is a problem and it has not yet been fixed. The problem is that if you install Opera "For the current user", then it does not appear in the "Select default programs" section.
You can install Opera "For all users" and then Opera will be displayed in that section.
