Check the new option and see if it works again, also you shouldn't be using other Ad/tracker blockers, even the native Opera ad blocker must be disabled to let ublock origin works properly. -

This does not work as one might think.
It does indeed make YouTube sort of show the old layout - however you still have the giant icons displayed to the right side - And - more importantly, the video itself is still in a large format so you cannot see the buttons for things like captions, autoplay, vido format, settings, etc............... -

For a few days now, the Opera GX browser has been slowing down and delaying YouTube videos when I pause and then play them again. It's actually the adblocker. If I turn it off, the delay is no longer as great.

@sonnia2131 That's actually YouTube's latest version of blocking ad-blockers. It isn't actually the ad blocker's fault as such.

@sonnia2131 You can, for now, turn it off for that site. In a couple of days see if they've updated their filters and try again.

@sonnia2131 Standard 5 days it refreshes lists, put there 264 times 24 (or 0). Make sure that you are boss of pc/phone.. Win wants to do all auto, so ppl don't understand pc. Linux wants a commando for everything.
YT threatens, but wants my channel more then 11 euro p/m Its Google, only llc, inc who doesn't go for profit, but for info...
