V7 Sessions

Doesn't work. There is no sidebar icon no matter what I do, and I can't figure out how to open sessions. I just lost all my tabs and I can't seem to get them back. This also happened back in January. Useless trash.

Also, "replace session" is vague. I was trying to replace my Current session with a Saved session and I erased the wrong one because it wasn't clear.

@gargomon251: Like @Just4Fun said, you can get V7 Sessions work for awhile disabling and then enabling the addon.

@gargomon251 Dude, it's a browser bug, the extension is not to blame for this. Maybe chill out a bit?

In Opera for macOs, V7Sessions disappears from the sidebar. If I disable and enable the extension, it appear but only until I switch to another tab or until do some action in the current tab. All other V7 extensions I use don't suffer from this behaviour. Reinstalling Sessions didn't fix this. Aside from this misbehaviour, everything seems to be working properly.

@nadie-nada-nunca maybe you're right but other V7 extensions don't suffer from the same issue.

@nadie-nada-nunca: So, maybe some API has changed and these misbehaving extensions need to adjust. For some reason some extensions are not affected, including some from the same developer.

@gnfpt My suspicion is that this bug affects extensions that have a button in the sidebar Amd Also one besides the address bar. Like, Opera for some reason only remembers one of them.

Yes - great news everyone, the sidebar issue is fixed!
I just updated to version 79.0.4143.61 and all my sidebar extensions are there once again.

@vaclavz Not the dev, but he's stated several times that the Opera API doesn't expose workspaces so it doesn't depend on him "planning" to support that feature but on Opera making it possible at all.

I must be doing something wrong or not understanding something, but the "save current window" button does nothing? from my understanding, it would imply it would save the current window as a session, no? because when I check for sessions, it doesn't save it.

@ethas It does nothing. It's a bug.
My problem with this is that save current window sometimes it works, sometim es it don't. Quite irritating. Any plans to fix the bug?
