Why can't I change the font seen on web sites?

I have set all the fonts to one specific one, but it makes no difference. No matter what page or web site I go to, everything I see remains in a default font. I am running the latest version of Opera, in Windows 10.

@jdocop For you to use a different font on a page, it needs to allow you to do that. Some sites have fixed fonts and they can't be changed.

@leocg no pages ever appear with the font that I have chosen, so how would I know?

@jdocop Don't know. I can't say for sure but I guess that most pages won't let you change the font because it could totally break the page design.

There are extensions that seem to allow you to change a page style, maybe you can try one of them.

An extension like Stylus will allow you to change fonts on a specific site; I am not aware of a way to do it more generally. Though perhaps they can do that ...
