@rusmax73-10 Chromium removed it as far as I know.

@leocg It's still there in the latest stable Chrome at least.

@rusmax73-10 Goto the URL chrome://flags/#save-page-as-mhtml nad make sure it's still enabled.

@burnout426 I don't see it in Chrome Canary.

@leocg Okay. I'll check. I might have to give someone a piece of my mind. 🙂

Confirmed. I see it's gone in Opera Developer too. I'll be following https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/bszr5c/what_happened_to_mhtml/ and looking for more information. Hopefully there's an extension that's a good replacement.

                  @rusmax73-10 I saw a workaround in Opera blog (http://disq.us/p/21vfkgf)
launch the Opera with the switch as follows:
                  \path\to\launcher.exe --save-page-as-mhtml

                  It works here on Win8x64

@andrew84 I'll check it out. The must have just removed it from chrome://flags and kept the command-line option. Wondering if they're eventually gonna remove the command-line option too.

@docacid Yeah, I still have found the reason why Google/Chromium removed the flag. I need to look harder.

Where damn Google hid the MHT-file in the settings?

@beg-pnz As said, it seems to be removed by chromium.

Just an hour ago my Opera browser lost capability to save web pages as mhtml.
Is there any chances to restore this functionality?

From web I found several similar topics but not any understandable explanation what happened. and how to fix.

Not much of help to know the name of evil.
But who is Chromium and why it changes my Opera settings?
How to restore Opera normal behavior to save mhtml?

Why can't it be enabled by typing "opera://flags#save-page-as-mhtml" at the address bar?

                                        Thanks.

@oberator Like I said, the flag no longer exists, that's why you can't just type it in address bar.
