How do I get the wretched bookmark bar to stay off? Every time I add or even view a bookmark the darn thing comes back to the top of the screen, usually soliciting contributions to it although sometimes with Amazon (.com not the .ca which I already have bookmarked) in place. The problem is worst in the stable version, almost as bad in the beta and just annoying in the developer (all versions are up to date). All of the computers are on W10 and up to date.

If you add a bookmark to the bookmarks bar then it turns the bookmarks bar on. If you add it in Other bookmarks then it should be fine.
