Problem logging in to new forums after a long time

Hi there,
Just tried to log in to my existing Opera Forums account from my mobile phone and noticed that the forums have been changed about 2 years ago and migrated to new layout, which I didn't know as I haven't been logged in for a long time during my inactivity period.After entering CORRECT username and password, I was immediately faced with a page requesting my consent to collect personal data (hope not dangerous), otherwise it would not allow me to post anything. My question is, was it REALLY forcibly required to give consent to use the new forum engine, or it was just me? It was behaving "as if" I am signing up newly and completing registration. After giving consent, now it is fine.

The request for consent is legit. It wasn't there with these new forums at first and only happened somewhat recently with changes in European laws. Nothing to worry about.
