I know opera for windows is evolved 'til version 18. for Linus it stucks by version 12.6 for months (or years). Is the community stopped with the devel of opera for linux?

depends on which distro/flavor of linux you're using. i tried solydx and it had the new opera. but ubuntu 12.04 is still using the old opera. there's a million out there, so it'll probably take some time. and remember, some distros are hostile to proprietary software and only use open source.

by `new opera' i mean webkit opera, not presto engine opera. it was a while back, so i don't remember version number at time, but it was webkit opera. (i was playing with mint linux at the time, so it may have been in their software center ... but i think it was through solydx - irregardless, it was there in a linux distro).
