Yes, please! Frustrating, the text and other icons in the purple header are mauve, no contrast. How the heck am I supposed to see these things. Makes no sense to have two similar dark colors. For thousands of years text has been printed to have CONTRAST to whatever background its printed on. Are you guys attempting to reinvent the wheel

Totally agree. How is this thread not blowing up? I'm pretty sure I once saw Blanche Dubois wear a fetching pantsuit the exact same colour on an old episode of the Golden Girls. This colour is worse than GoT S08E05.

Looks like some work experience school kid has been let loose with the crayons. Hideous Opera - what were you thinking?

So, why it should be changed? How the color of the UI in private windows is bad for the users?
So far there is only one post with a somewhat valid argument, although I don't see the contrast problem here. -

Managed to find a thread on here telling me how to revert to version 58. Everything in my world is happy again!
Lots of other threads out there complaining about what you've done Opera.....please pay attention to them!

It is amazingly ugly. A very very poor decision. It seems almost impulsive.

@leocg It should be changed for the same reason that you wouldn't use flourescent green or yellow; it's displeasing to the eye. Look at some publicity photos of Madge in the 80's and you'll get an idea. It's just bad design principle. It's the colour of old. It's a Florida-retirement-village-no-under-55's-allowed colour. Is that a good enough reason to rid us of this abomination?
Hooah!
