No support for .wav audio?

Apparently Opera v50.2.2426.136249 is without support for WAVE audio as a page background, functioning normally in Opera Mini v14.0.2065.100298. Will I have to insert it into the page as MP3 audio? Now only HTML5 markup?????

Mystery solved: the default setting of Opera v50.2.2426.136249 for Media, Medium - No sound, was preventing from listening the background audio, reconfigured to Low - No sound or visual interruption, but when returning to the original default the background audio worked correctly, weird. Maybe in the (last) update there was a momentary loss of configuration. Please Opera Team, review this subject and default. The original default for Media is good.

Chromium doesn't allow autoplay if there is sound.

@leocg Thank you leocg, after I'll read those explanations, the background audio in the page play again at least once even if without repetition (loop) ... I tested again, it worked correctly, was a momentary loss of configuration.
