Have they fixed the bug which makes Opera 57 & 58 crash when Preferences are opened?

Hi @concretable, about which case scenario do you speak? if you mean, when the #new-md-settings is disabled, then I think not, because old Settings layout seems to be abandoned, and the flag is removed in the current Beta and Developer.

As Opera Developer is now at version 61, you should probably continue this (if you need to) there.
