@iacs Exactly. That's why I'm reading this (and responding) from Edge. Lol.

Opera for real, why you don't add this feature - Yesterday- ???
It's the only reason that can make me switch back to Chrome...

Well I joined the forum just to add my voice to this feature request !
I am shocked and disappointed that Opera does not have this facility, while chrome does.
OK so it means another 10 minutes installing my old extensions - not really a massive issue - but I am surprised this feature does not exist.

2022 and I still had to sync extensions manually. This time I came with a easy way, how to sync opera extensions faster. I created a bookmark folder, where I stored all my extensions links, so next time, I will right click, open all links in that folder and than I will just be hitting install everywhere. I am still kinda sad, that after so many years, (one of) the most requested feature is still not implemented.

I hope Opera can talk to us about what they think about this feature. Communication is good to connect with users and developers aferall.

+1 for Sync Extensions option.
In the year of our Lord 2022, you've got gimmicky music and sounds for GX, yet missing basic functionality that has been in other browser since 2012, probably earlier.
Do something - or lose your user base. Tab groups are also better than Workspaces.

Maybe some expert users could comment on this - since Opera allows installing extensions from the Chrome web store, does this prevent opera from syncing them across?

Hi developers at Opera, I appreciate your effort in including social media and crypto elements to the flagship browser, but would you take a moment to talk to us about what you guys think about the extension sync feature? We'd love to hear from you!

I too am wondering about this feature so I decided to bump this thread. I don't understand why this isn't getting any attention from the team...

It's been 3,000 years now and apparently this simple thing cannot be done? Other browsers have already landed on Mars, we still out here trying to sync or addons..... Wtf?

Here's hoping in 2023, we've got syncing across devices which include extensions

Hi,
I wholeheartedly agree with this suggestion concerning the addition of adding extensions in the 'advanced sync settings' area. Currently as most people already know users have to add their desired extensions manually which seems rather old fashioned.
