@leocg said in Extension enables itself.:
%appdata%
There was probably 100 files with this %appdata% and none with Opera attached to it. I give up. Thanks for your help but this is all gotten too much.

@leocg I turn the ad blocker off in the extension page and a few days later it's enabled on the extension page. It is so random that I can't tell what's turning it on. I'm good at figuring these things out but this one is a good one. Don't even know if it turns on while the browser is on or if it's when I open it, or when I do something. Either way, I like Opera and will continue to use it as my daily driver.

@leocg Thanks for the info. I have my browser configured exactly the way I want it so I think I'll pass on a new start even though I can bring all my "stuff" over from another browser. Someday I'll stumble across why this was happening. In the meantime, I'll just delete the ad blocker when I notice it. It's not hurting anything.

@leocg I know what you are saying. As it's been doing this for some time so I could start by disabling extensions I've had for awhile one at a time to see. I can delete any extension I want except Opera's ad blocker. Not sure why they would force people to use it or be unable to uninstall it so I'm left with this issue. Anyway, like I said thanks for your help. Someday I'll stumble across what is causing this to me only, as it seems. I guess the simple answer would be to disable my paid blocker and use Opera's but I paid for it and want to use it as it covers all my browsers at the same time. Opera's doesn't.
