I'm having this issue too, in the latest build (Version: 56.0.3051.116) of Opera Web Browser, while trying to import bookmarks from Google Chrome, that happen to include folders with ampersand marks ('&'), in their titles. Opera Bookmark Bar erroneously shows double-ampersands (&&) in place of single ampersands ('&').

Please fix!

This bug was reported over 4 years ago and it's still not fixed.

In menus, an ampersand is used to indicate an accelerator key. Hence if you want to show a real ampersand in a menu you have to actually use two. Apparently they are doing that somewhere they shouldn't be ...
