I want to backup Opera data like I used to in the old days. But the Opera Stable folder is 300 MB in size which seems tooo large. I only want the relevant stuff.
What folders need to be saved?

        %appdata%\Opera Sofware

        Check https://help.opera.com/en/latest/crashes-and-issues/#backup

Thanks, but I have done that. None of the files listed in that link show up in my appdata.. Are you on windows? If you are then tell me where you found your links, passwords, etc. There are about 35 different folders under appdata, none of which are in that help list.

Are you looking at Opera Software\Opera Stable?

Maybe you are looking at the cache? Check menu > Help > About Opera for the path to the profile folder, maybe yours is somewhere else.

@pdw Yes, I'm looking at the correct place. And I can see all the files mentioned on the help page.

                What are you seeing there?

There isn't a file named Cookies? Neither one named Bookmarks?

I'm sorry, I did find the files, hidden below the list of folders. Doh. My bad.
I see that passwords cannot be moved to another machine. Too bad.
This can be closed. Thanks for the help.
