My browser will not load Gmail.

Gmail will not load on my browser. I receive a message telling me to adjust my settings or that it will not load. If I can't fix the problem by tomorrow I will need to revert to a Firefox alternative.

Mine is just the same. I have happily used Opera for over a year and this includes Gmail but for the last few days I am getting the same message. You are right, it looks as if it is back to Firefox if no-one can help.

I have a new Gmail address. It is a nuisance that I have to try to retrieve information from that account. I am also careful to make sure that I don't use retrieval methods I will forget.

Open up a private window, goto mail.google.com and log in. Does it at least work there?

i have the same issue with the writer above what could be the problem. it can open in another browser but not in opera what is going on

@chiedozieleoonyechere Did you try a private window as suggested?
The other option is to download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation" and install. Test in that Opera (don't enable Opera Sync in it). Do things work fine there at least?
