Facebook flickering while scrolling

Been using Opera for a while now, but facing issues with facebook for the past 30 days. While scrolling on Facebook, the screen flickers and goes blank (White screen) for 3-5 seconds and re-appears. Also the browser screen goes black when I switch to other tabs from Facebook. Its really annoying to use Facebook due to this issue. I haven't found any topics related to this in Google so I did not try anything to solve it. Not sure whether if its an isse with Opera or Flash or something else.
