Search box redirecting searches to Amazon

My default search engine is Google, and the rainbow G appears in the search box in the upper right.

When I do a search for "Z Line Vent Hood" the search sends me to Amazon and changes the search terms to "Line Vent Hood" which is not the same thing and obviously isn't a Google search,

Things I've tried:
Clearing my cache
Clearing my cookies
Checking my extensions. The only one is disable HTML5 Autoplay.
Checking my default search extension. It's Google.
Changing the default extension to Amazon and back to Google.
Doing a basic anti malware scan with Windows Defender.

If I go directly to Google.com the search works as expected.

Does anyone else see this, and what can I do to get rid of it?

Opera supports search shortcuts, and unfortunately Z is the shortcut for Amazon. you either need to type a G before the whole thing (to force Google) or put it in quotes to force it to be considered a single search term.
