Too Much Empty Space Above Speed Dial Icons

With the newest iteration of Opera, there now is a lot more empty space above the top row of Speed Dial icons, thus pushing down the lower ones below the page. Why did they do this??

It's a known issue; Opera is working on a correction for that from what I've read in the Opera Desktop Blog.

Seems like the search bar is not hiding properly or something with the blank space after it is not disappearing, as in previous version of Opera.
