Opera Mail: How to change storage location for messages?

Opera Mail: This is regarding the old version supplied with Opera 12 before the downfall :).

Is it possible to control where your email messages are stored on your computer?

Close down Opera and edit operaprefs.ini (see "Menu -> Help -> About Opera" for the location first. Take note of the "mail" folder location too). Under the "[Mail]" section add (or set if it's already there):

Mail Root Directory=drive_you_want://folder_you_want/mail

Then, before you start Opera, move the "mail" folder so that it's in "folder_you_want". Then, when you start Opera, you should be good to go.

You can set the Mail Root Directory in opera:config, close Opera, move the mail folder and start Opera if you want to do it that way instead.
