I've tried checking and unchecking the box for this settings option, but the top spacing isn't going away. This problem started just yesterday, previously it worked as intended for me.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling opera but this didn't fix the issue. Any help?

      This is getting really frustrating.

@pkitto That setting seems to be deprecated and was already removed from the new settings page in Opera developer builds.

Hmm, the setting's working fine for me in Opera 53.0.2907.99 x64 on Windows 10. Unchecking it adds the space and rechecking it removes the space again. In Opera Developer, the setting is not there, but it's not needed in your case as the spacing is already disabled.

@leocg worryingly I downloaded Opera developer build just now to test, and I'm still having the same problem (gap at the top.).

@pkitto Like I said, it seems that this will be the default behavior.

@leocg My mistake, misinterpreted your reply.

What a disaster, can't see why anyone would want this feature.
