  • I installed Opera 21 on a new internal hard-drive. I had been using it on another internal hard drive. None of my extensions on the old drive show up in Opera on the new drive after a sync. Do I have to install each old extension again?

  • Not sure, wyntnerwoody on the syncing, but there is an Extensions folder in your profile. See the discussion here where we have been trying to identify the parts in the profile related to extensions.

In the Opera 21 menu, go to "About Opera," and you will see the location of profile in Opera. You could try to copy the Extensions folder (in the old drive) over to the new internal hard drive, and see if that is sufficient to set up the Extensions for your purposes. There are a few other folders related to extensions discussed in that thread, which you could copy also to be on the safe side. I would make sure Opera is closed before doing that. This should hopefully avoid your having to install the extensions again.

  • Do I have to install each old extension again?

Yes. Or copy Opera's profile folder into the new install.
