Hi, I've had this problem for a while now, that whenever I try to play a video Opera crashes. I just updated it today (after not using it for about 2 months now) I don't really know what to do, this happens on every page I go to. Has anyone had a similar problem, and knows how to fix it? Or am I forever doomed to stay in this limbo, in which I go back and forth on Opera and Chrome and....explorer

I had a similar problem. Do you think its the update that caused it? Opera 21 didn't play well with my youtube. I went back to opera 20, thanks to someone elses help on the forums. Opera twenty download:

        ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/20.0.1387.91/win/

Install this offline and go in the installation folder and change the name opera_autoupdate. That stops opera 20 from updating back into 21.

Any videos? Or videos from a specific site?

          Flash or html5?

I don't think that it has anything to do with the update, because this started happening about half a year ago, and not after an update.
Also, it is every single video, any youtube video, videos on facebook, or from news sources. I'm not too sure if that would then also include HTML5, but Flash defintely doesn't work

Maybe updating your flash player plug-in may help ?.
