Opera 21 - How to put an alternative search engine and remove google search from the Speed dial

Hi all,
I just installed the version 21. A good visual but I feel lost, I cannot select my preferred search engine (Duckduckgo). I can add it to the list but not select it per default.
Other point, from the Speed Dial page, how to get ride off the Google search bar?

You can't set a custom search as the default one.

You should have no problem getting rid of the search bar in the Speed Dial.

wow, thanks a lot, that's a pain this super user right is so hidden
It is not like I don't like google, but I like to change search engine! -
