The first Opera beta 53.02907.7
;-)
The change log, and the announcement.
"Today, we’re transitioning Opera 53 from the developer line to beta. To start off, this beta build features revamps the appearances of tabs, and the address bar.
Optimization of a tab’s displayRecently, for Mac users, it’s been difficult to find and manage a particular tab, when many of them are open. We figured out a way to optimize this, and made your plentiful tabs’ favicons more visible. Let’s see how it changed:
To make it even more visible and easier to manage, clicking on a tab will expand it.
There is also some fresh, sharpened coloring done to the address bar.
Some fixesThere was an issue with favicons for bookmarks not appearing until you visit the site. This has been fixed.
Additionally, we fixed a crash caused by clicking the VPN button in the address bar after conducting a search for Mac users in Ukraine."
The Chromium has been updated to version 66.0.3359.45.

New update - Opera beta 53.0.2907.31
;-)
The change log, and the announcement.
"It’s time to put two new features into Opera 53 beta: Instant Search, and Flow. These features were part of our big R2 live launch, and we are now implementing these stable features here.
Instant SearchInstant Search expedites the way you conduct searches on the web. By pressing Alt (⌥) + Space on your keyboard, a new search box will pull up over your current page, and your new search will load in a floating window over the page. Now you can search for something on the web, without leaving or losing your current page.
Have a dozen, several dozen, or hundreds of tabs open, and need to find just one? Instant Search can also look for your open tabs. After opening Instant Search, press the Tab key, to switch to tab search mode, and type some keywords of the tab you have in mind.
Tab search mode can be open directly with Ctrl + Space.
FlowFlow is a feature, where you can send and store web content, that you wish to keep for later reference in an end-to-end encrypted space. Flow is also available on our new mobile browser Opera Touch, which allows you to share web pages between your computer and phone with ease, and resume your desktop browsing on mobile, and vice versa.
For all the details on our major announcements, you can re-watch the R2 live launch event.
To read more about these features, check out our last post."
The Chromium has been updated to version 66.0.3359.117.

@l33t4opera I noticed a thing about Instant Search, you cannot change the search engine, it's set to Google and you can't change it. Can you let us change the search engine for Instant Search? I am an avid DuckDuckGo user, so I would greatly prefer to use that engine instead of Google.
Thanks.
