Opera browser does not permit JRE 1.6 to run Java Applet

Im running a Java Applet application through Opera browser in Windows. The application works absolutely fine with JRE 1.7 but when i try to run the application with JRE 1.6 the application does not run. In similar browsers like Chrome, Firefox when i try to run the application with JRE 1.6 the browser prompts a message saying "the browser has prevented the outdated plugin from running the application" and it gives option to the user either "continue blocking or allow" to choose. But Opera doesn't give such a option. Is there any way where we can set Opera to allow running JRE version less than the current version?
Everytime new JRE is released the older version are blocked without giving option for the user to allow the plugin or not. -

I've come to the forums just for this question; there's a governmental website which works only with an outdated java version and Opera can not run it without giving me an option. Chrome does the opposite. Is there any way that I can work this out?

In the properties of the Opera shortcut, change the command to Opera.exe
For example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\launcher.exe" --allow-outdated-plugins
It's what you're supposed to do in Chrome. It should work with Opera, but not sure if it actually will.
Just note that if it works, it'll affect all plug-ins. So, make sure you're up to date with your other plug-ins.
You might even want to launch the Opera installer, click "options", set "install path" to a folder in your userprofile area, set "install for" to "Standalone Installation (USB)" and install. Then, create a shortcut for that Opera that passes --allow-outdated-plugins and only use that Opera for that site.
But, Opera not showing an "allow" option like Chrome does sounds like a bug.
