I don't think so but have you tried with them disabled? I recall have read some comments about cccleaner messing up some Opera settings and causing problems because of it.

I had a similar problem. I just re loaded opera 20. You can get opera 20 here.
ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/20.0.1387.91/win/I suggest you install it off the internet, go into the installation folders, and then rename the opera auto update folder. That will prevent opera 20 to going back to opera 21. My 20 is working great and I love it

@nicklipko, From where you try to go to youtube? (speed dial, address bar, etc.) I had the same problem and it was fixed when I deleted the default youtube speed dial and manually added it again.

Have you Off-Road mode on?

Does https://www.youtube.com/ work for you?

Yes it was on. When on only the top link worked. I turned it off and both worked. Thank you very much.

@tjamroszczak Thanks! Had the exakt same problem!
FIX: For anyone else experiencing this "issue": Turn off "Off-Road" mode!

This bug is fixed in Opera Next, version 22.0.1471.16.
However there is different bug connected with "plugin click to play", visible on all browsers - the first time you try to play a movie on http://www.youtube.com, it fails. Reload helps.

I am using Opera 26.0.1656.24 and Adobe Flash Player 15 on Windows 7 64 bit. I am unable to watch YouTube videos where it says "can't load plugin".
I found a work around for this by switching to HTML5 player. To do this in your opera browser window, navigate to
https://www.youtube.com.html5While on the page, click "Request the HTML5 Player" button and then you can navigate to youtube and watch videos.

Video on this news link wouldn't load. Grey page with a circle with a dash in it. Plug In Won't Load.
Went to Firefox and it played just fine.
First it was PDF saying Adobe Reader Out Of Date when it Was Up To Date. Was told to disable that, not what are we suppose to disable on Opera to view anything with video's?
Face it this Browser is no good every which way. Might as well just use Firefox.

Now NO video anywhere will download. Face Book is now not working with video's there.
What is going on?

saying Adobe Reader Out Of Date
Guys, you know what?
Remember this comment I'm making, because it may pertain to a number of threads.
I have no nuOperas, but I do have a bunch of Adobe products on, and recently - EACH GODDAMN system reboot (which I have to do more o.. neverm..) - an Adobe window pops up saying "update available".
First time I though it's o'k, second - well, frequent updates happen...
But now it's been the third (minimum) time in a row within a couple of weeks tops.So I'm saying what?
It may be that (let's reserve this nuOpera is not right but) the newest/recent Adobe something is causing havoc (too).
I have no trouble movieing, but this "update".
In your case, guys, some Adobe glitches parent to this "update itch" may trigger certain problems on unstable software (which nuOpera still is). :sherlock: -
