Hello,
Since I am a linux and windows user... I have switched from Opera Mail M2 to Opera 12.16 for just the email part.
I noticed when you open an email, there's no back button. So I had to add custom icons and hit the HOME button and then the MAIL button to get back to the main inbox to read the next email.
am I missing something? Is there an easier way to do this?
Thanks,

Oh and also another thing I noticed......... I have to copy links in emails then open firefox and post them to open the facebook response to me, or a link to another website.. If not Opera 12.16 tries to open it within opera.. Unless there's a way to change that?
Thanks,
Chris -

I use the navigation button on my mouse, and of course gestures and keyboard equivalents should work, though if you really want you should be able to add a back button from the Appearance dialog. Mind you, if you always want to go to the Inbox you could create a specific button (or gesture, or shortcut) for that.
In older versions of Opera it was possible to change the handler for HTTP(S) links, but sometimes people would do that by accident so I think they disabled it before version 12. Not that you couldn't try - go to Preferences > Advanced > Programs, add http and set "Open with default application" or "Open with other application" - in the latter case you'd need to specify the command line for the application. And if that works, then repeat the process for https.

@sgunhouse Whoa that worked! now links open in Firefox Thank you.
Its too bad 9.x is out of date... It seems to load webpages soooo fast the few times I had the forums email notifications open the Opera forums webpage in 9.12 instead of Firefox!
