Remove/disable trending searches

I don't want to see "trump playboy model enquirer" everytime I want to search something. This is a stupid feature that serves no purpose. Seriously, it's just a really shitty news outlet, nobody goes on Google to see what others are searching for. Move the feature to the News page if you insist on keeping it.

Plus it has to open a new tab for this, I already had the tab I wanted open, I didn't need a new tab with an unwanted search when I was going back to the story I was reading!

I agree. They're still screwing up what was once a great android browser. I'm staying with Opera 43 since I not only hate the "suggestions" but also the download ui and the disappearing speed dial folder labels when 'large icons' is checked.
